Suspension Noice - help!

I've have a MY00 GC8 w/ sti struts on stock springs. For the last year or so, I've been having this clanking noice coming from one the rear/left strut, when you go over bumps(small or big.) I've taken it apart 3 times, each time tightening the top bolt that holds the spring to the strut. It fixes it for maybe 2-4 weeks, but comes back. I'm thinking that maybe the bolt or nut is stripped. Has anybody ever experience anything simular?

hrmmm, I have the Prodrive setup which is very similar to yours with the exception of the springs and I have not had any clunking noises at all from the rear. Did you put on the rubber pad that is supposed to go at the bottom of the struts where the spring perches on?
The only noises that I notice are my jack and tool kit moving. An idea could be that the board that is right above the spare could be moving around. At least that is what I had and then I got a mat to hold it down and problem solved.
