Unhappy Steering Shake,rattle & Vibration

HI Folks,
I need some help in diagnosing a problem on my '04 sti. Since about 10k ( I now have over 40k miles) I have had an annoying steering shake in corners, high speed or low it is a vibrating shake of the wheels. I replaced the rack bushings w/ whitelines and it did not go away. I have had it to subaru 4 times for an inspection and they say all is well. It hits mostly in left turns and is felt in what appears to be the left side. Like I said subaru has had 4 looks and our local top notch aligment shop has had a look at the whole suspension and found nothing. Has anybody had anything similar and if so what was it and what was the fix. Hoping to avoid a tree!!!!

What kind of rims do yo uhave? .. it could be bent, and if the front left was bent that might be the cause of vibration. and also check all the suspension bolts, you might also have a lose bolt somewhere.

Oh, and you could also have bubbles in your steering resivor, you should bleed it just in case.

Make sure your tires are balanced and that there is no leak in the tires!

steering shake part 2

I have checked everything and I can not find anything loose. I have checked EVERYTHING. Also, if the front wheels are off the ground and the lower A arms are supported and with the engine running if I turn the steering wheel left to right they still shake through the range of motion. It is quite disconcerting that this is happening but nobody has any ideas. Subaru has not done the wheels off the ground check yet but I am going to suggest they check that out. I was hoping that somebody had come across this before. thanks for the help
