ss brakeline install help
hey guys im in the middle of installing my ss braklines and i have stripped the bottom bolt that connects to the end of the stock brakeline, i circled it in the bottom picture. is there any way i could replace this or is my best shot is going to the dealer or shop to get this fixed? im asking this because i would rather do it myself if i can and finish the brakeline install. thanks heres the pic

Eeks. I did something like that. I grabbed a pair of pliers and just tightened it the best I can. Then I took it to a shop and had them take care of it.

Bummer. It seems this is not all that uncommon. Did you use a line wrench to try and take it off? How bad did you make it? You may be able to use some vice grips to get it tight. The thing is that hard line will most likely need to be replaced. The flair on the end is not a normal one it's double back thick. Not that it's a big help now but I do have some info here:
