Either one should work because I remember that when Bill and I worked on my car it was similar. It had the shape for the nut.

Here you go. I did install SS brake lines and started to do the mod page but never did finish. Here is a pic I have though with a line wrench. A lot of the time the top part will spin though so you have to be careful. Sometimes lightly holding it at the top will prevent this from turning.

Holy old thread! FWIW, when I did my stainless lines, I managed to strip the line nut despite the fact that I had the proper tool. Frankly, I'd skip it next time and go straight to a small or needle-nose pair of locking pliers.

I dropped in the lines and it works great. Thank you so much for the instruction. I must say, the flair nut wrench+WD40 help. Those lines nuts can strip pretty easy.
