squeaking breaks

So I've had an 07 STi for about 1.5 years now with about 10.5k miles. my brakes are starting to squeak, is it possible that I already need to get new break pads after just 10k miles? I know Brembo's kill your pads quick but that seems a little to quick. Could it be another issue? And if it is a break pad issue which pads do you guys think I should buy?

My sti has had squeaky brakes since the day I bought it... especially in reverse, it only got worse when I put on brembo rotors, just something you deal with with high performance brakes

yeah, when the oem pads were still on my car they squeaked quite a bit. i upgraded to Hawk pads and DBA 4000xs rotors and they are very quiet and don't put out nearly as much brake dust as the oem pads did.

Try re-bedding in the pads.
