If I have a choice I'll never purchase another perrin part. Every part I've owned or come across has either had fitment or failure problems. My endlink seized up.

Beyond that... I'm not a supporter of that style of bearing on a daily driven car. It's fine for a track car.

If those endlinks are on your car I would advise you to clean and lube them every time you do an oil change.

They said they are designed to be able to replace them. I would not expect to need to replace them for what they cost, but I have also read of them failing. That may be why they came out with the new models. I did have issues with the bolts for the rear endlinks (the reused stock bolt does not fit their bushings properly) - I contacted them about it and got no response, so I made a slight change to their setup and have not had a problem since. More or less all of the aftermarket endlinks I have seen are designed basically identical to this as well, so other than someone else using a higher quality bearing, I doubt there would be much difference among them. There is also the issue of not installing them correctly - any bearing will fail if not correctly installed. I've owned a number of Hondas and Acuras prior to this, and all of them use adjustable heim-joint endlinks from the factory.

Yeah they have a one year warranty on the bearings and a 3 year on the endlinks if I remember right.

Old style in the front. New style on the rear

Whiteline...

Kartboy...

hotchkis...

Avo

Etc etc etc. Most companies use that style of rear endlinks. A lot of companies have options. Helix, Agency Power and Cobb use spherical bearings. I'm not saying it's a poor design by any means. Spherical bearings rip for handling and are the way to go for tracked cars or cars that NEVER see the dirt, snow, mud, etc. For those that do and for those that get driven all the time I'd suggest going the other route. You'll never notice the difference and they'll be quieter, need less maintenance and last longer.

All I'm saying... if you're going spherical keep them clean and lubed. Especially if you hit the dirt or snow like I do.

I'm switching to Whiteline front and rear to match up with my other awesome whiteline equipment. I might send the perrin's in for an overhaul and keep them as spares or sell them. I'm trying to filter all perrin off my car. I love my exhaust but if I could get in to a maddad I'd do it in a heartbeat... but it's the only exhaust I'll switch for. I love my poor fitting heavy perrin twin tip. Thing is friggin SWEET sounding and flows killer.

I asked them if the whiteline endlinks would work with their bar, which I'm sure they would, and they didn't really provide a useful answer The Whitelines are less expensive because they are similar to the OE ones except aluminum vs plastic. I already bought the front Perrin bar as well, only to find that theirs is not specific to the wagon like the whiteline so I may sell it and go with a whiteline front. Been a fan of whiteline for a long time and would have gone that way, but like I mentioned before, I got a good deal on the Perrins. I saw that on the new versions they use the same exact bearings but they have grease fittings on them...
