Setup ?

I have prodrives on stock struts right now and I love the ride but I think I want something a little lower. Something like .5 inch lower. What kinda ride height am I looking at with a spec c setup or jdm sti adjustables with pinks. Any advice or pics with these setups? I have 18x8 wheels. Thanks

I dont think the pinks or spec-c are as low as the prodrives. I think the drop is like 20mm for the pinks/spec-c

Just get some coilovers. I might be able to get you some Bilsteins for around $800 all the way around. Or at least better springs. Give us a shout.

What car is it? I'll have to check the exchange rates. But I've purchased them at $800 before.

2004 wrx. Do these come with c spanners cause I don't think I want to be on the ground all the time to adjust ride height.

Actually I just got off the phone with my vendor. I guess I was wrong. What he had done was set us up with a sponsorship that I was not awear of. But now that I told him it was for a customer, there is no way he'll give me the same price. Sorry. However, how far did you drop it already? He noted to me that once you pass a certant point, the sway bar interfears with the hight as well at the stock struts. So that might be your problem.

I did look up a few suspension kits (coilover, sway bars, bushings) and cheapest I found was B+G for around #1350.00. Not sure if that in your budget. However, if you have the cash, I highly recomend a coilover system. You'll never regret the performance.

Tell me what you did and want to do. What was your original drop and how low from stock do you want to get.... and why? Between all my sources I'm sure we can find something right for you.

Also, did your springs come with an extra strut tower bearing? If so, did you double them up? It's a stupid mistake that I've done a few times.
Let me know.

The Prodrive springs only drop your car 25mm, or about 1-inch all around. I was looking for something with just a little more agressive stance but I don't want just springs, Just tell your vendor that those bilsteins are for you and sell them to me for 800, thanks.
