RPM, fuel injector pulse
hey guys!!
Just got a HKS Camp system for my sti. Installed it and got the Speedometer function to work in it. But for some reason the RPM signal wont work and the fuel monitor wont work either. So I did a lot of research on this before i even installed it and I already have a printout of all the ecu pinouts.
Speedometer = Vehicle speed signal This works!
RPM = Engine speed output This does not work
Fuel injector monitor = Fuel pump control unit This does not work
Does anybody know the exact pin that the rpm needs to be connected to? Because there is also an acceleration pedal control sensor. So im not sure which one this needs to be connected to. any of you guys that have had a successful tach install could be of some help here.
And finally the fuel injector monitor. It calls for an injector pulse signal. Now i assumed that the fuel pump control unit signal # 1 would be the right pin for this because it is a waveform. So once again if anybody has had a successful install on a fuel injection monitoring system please help.
Thanks guys.
Eli
