Question New lowering springs, which ones?

I jsut got an 05 sti. One of the first mods I want to do to it is lower it. What springs would you recomend, or is there a difference. I've been looking at some Eibach and Tien ones.

Thanks for your help, I'm new to this scene. If anyone needs help modding out a downhill mountain bike....I'm on it!

All right, all right. I'll admit, this was one of my first posts, and I should have searched...but I was anxious and assumed I was the only one brilliant enough for such a question of this caliber.

However, I did a recent search, which does make this post invalid, and my findings tell me that these Tien H-Tech's make the car bounce like shes riding on rubber bands.

I think my decision is Cobbs.

For performance on the factory struts, I would recommend Crucial Springs for not only a great looking drop but an awesome ride with increased performance.

They are designed with the JDM pinks in mind, but they were improved upon and are $100 less.

Eibachs are slighty stronger, and pretty nice ride height. The Teins are pretty much for show, the ride feels stock cause the springs rate is not to strong.

Nice springs, Too bad the front springs aren't linear like pinks.

i think you might be confusing the tein h-tech with the tein s-tech. the s-techs are infamous for the uber-low, but rough ride. the h-techs are progressive springs meaning that they are softer on light "everyday" driving, but become stiffer with more agressive driving. the drop is also more subtle but also more even (i.e. not much *** dragging appearance.) i have a set and the ride is only a bit stiffer than stock, and the handling is greatly improved over stock.
