rear rotor install problem

Hi guys, i have switched out my rotors to stock replacement rotors from stoptech, i use the 8mm bolt plus lossen the e brake gear to remove the rear rotor.. after the install, i tighten the gear all the way where the parking brake is against the rotor, then go down 4 notches from that point to make sure there is clearence from the parking pad to the rotor.. here is the problem

Did i do anything wrong? or there are special things i have to look for when installing the rear rotors back on? because now i'm hearing clicking continously, and i'm kinda scare to drive. it only clicks when the wheel is rolling above 5mph i shall say. And one time my abs light came on as well.

Can anyone tell me what might be happening? i notice my ebrake handle in the cabin is also tighter, i might loosen couple of more notch tomorrow and take a look at it again

Thumbs up This might help... Pages from the Service Manual Big Picture!

gqzboy,

Everyone here has helped me soo much, I figure I'd return the favor. Here is some pages regarding the rear brake rotor removal and install from the subaru wrx 2002 service manual.

http://www.geocities.com/useful1/

You might want to download the image to the hard drive before geocities removes it for some reason.

I haven't touched my car at ALL in terms of servicing or mods, so if you have any questions regarding general automotive stuff, I'm NOT the dude.... heh...

I probably can't help much, but this might. The file is pretty wide, but I put it up on a geocities webpage and its in gif format, so its small in size.

I hope it helps,

- U
