my question is will a 03 trunk fit onto a 04? buy-eye trunk onto a peanut eye trunk. are all the body lines and everything still the same? bought to buy a wingless 03 trunk but not to sure if it will fit onto a 04. so help would be appreciated

02-07 trunks are all the same overall shape-wise

 

the only thing to remember when changing the trunks is if the spoiler is different you will need to change the "springs" and also the locks. other than that the 02-07 are all interchangable.

 

hehe, yeah, change the "springs" unless you wanna turn a wrx trunk into a catapult

lock cylinders are pretty easy to remove, you just have to know how to do it. There should be a generic how-to online for lock cylinder removal

 

i've done it before cuz i had a wrx wing/trunk n swapped it out for a sti wing/trunk but now im gettin a free wingless hood so just wanted to make sure it would fit before i do anything.

yay!! so i can swap the trunks whenever i feel like it. wingless or sti wing every so often... people gone be like im seein **** didnt he ahve a wing/no wing on yesterday! ima laugh so bad..

 

just be sure to change the springs or only open the trunk with your key. if you have the springs for a sti wing, the wingless will shoot open hella fast.
