for affordable and moderate performance you cant go wrong with the BC Coilovers. I have yet to hear a bad review on them. contact acuteperformance here on i-club he can get you a good deal on them.

If you plan to do a lot of road trips I'd just go with springs.

I had the STi pink springs on before I got my Zeal coilovers and they were a nice ride. The Zeals are amazing, but stiff for long trips.

See the DarkOnion Coilover Spectrum. I don't think you can go wrong with BC's. They run about $900-$1000 shipped, if not less now. I hear they are very similar to an STi set-up, if not a little smoother.

I agree with Al. I like the Prodrives and Swift springs for the wrx (I had Prodrives on my old wrx wagon).

If you autox or road race, then I would consider coilovers. Im considering the BC Racing coilovers next year when I start going to the track.

I've had Ohlins for over a year and make tons of long trips. They're costly but in my opinion are tough to beat. Ohlins rebuilds them for pretty cheap too from what I'm told.

Forget the Tein...waste of money for nothing better.

Here is another review on the BC
https://www.i-club.com/forums/vbarti...e&articleid=10

The KW V2 would be another good option as they have a very nice damper and ride.

My personal advice would be a decent spring/strut combo like a tanabe, swift, or prodrive paired with a KYB AGX or something. Cheaper and involves less setup. Also a bit more comfortable. If you have track aspirations, its a different story
