power steering removed?

power steering removed?
my power steering pump was blown a ways back. so, i wanted to know if i can remove the pump and would it make it and easier to turn. i have driven cars with manual steering and its not as hard as a wrx with a blown pump. is there any way to convert it to manual steering? i wouldnt mind having no power steering.

i had the same problem as i blew my ps pump a while back. i was able to pick up a used pump for $100, personally that money was worth it. and the install is pretty simple as well, all you need is a few basic handtools. just a few bolts off and a few back on
