anyone removed their third brake light?
i need to remove my third brake light as it is no use to me and i can't stand it rattling. anyone done this? tips?

yah, its very easy to do. I think there was just 2 bolts that you
need to take out from the trunk area and unplug the harness
if you haven't done so already. you'll see which way to push
the light to get it off its clips holding it onto the car's deck when
you're unscrewing.
you can buy the plastic cover or i just made a cover out of
reinforced felt (crazy felt?) which you can buy at any Michaels Arts&Crafts store. just cut it to size and use some
glue to mount it. The windows are tinted so it wont fade
that quickly... even if it did, just take it off, and cut out another
one. $1 at most and you can make 2 of them with one sheet.
