Pads & Rotors for a '00 Leg. Outback?
Pads & Rotors for a '00 Leg. Outback?
My parents have a 2000 legacy outback, (as stated in the title) that needs a complete brake job. Pads and rotors all around. The dealership wanted something completely outragous, like $900!!! So i said screw it, i can do it for much cheaper. The problem is i have only worked on Hondas.
My question really is how difficult is it to do? are the Rotors pressed on to the hubs or are there any other things that would severely hinder my work here? On the Accord its basically, take off the wheel, take off the caliper, and then the rotor. Is there anything tricky about doing this job? do i need any special tools?
My experience is basically only on FWD cars. Anything special for the AWDs?
I have a really good connection for parts locally. so im getting oem parts for wholesale price, aka cheap. im guessing about 15-20 per disc, and 35-40 for pads. Word booty
Thanks in advance guys.
