Noise from rear
whenever I go over hard bumps or coner fast I notice a scraping in the rear. It sounds as though I am bottoming out, However there are no scrapes on the underside of my car. I first noticed this in the rear drivers side. I have a 98L Impreza, so I thought it might be the muffler dragging. All the mounts are good there. Any thoughts???? The springs look good and the ride feels find so I don't think it is the shocks.

that is the problem. I can already notice wear on the outer walls of the new tires. Now the question is how do I fix it?? I assume this is not normal. Also before I realized the tires were the problem I put wider 205/65 on the car instead of 195/65. Since then the problem is a little worse, but it was still bad before I had the new tires. Is this a problem with springs or struts??? I am looking for a quick fix right now and then also so insight into what I could do in a few months to fix it right. I am low on money at the time.

I read a post in another forum that said they heard this similar noise and that after a lot of investigation they found out that their shocks were bad on the inside. I looked and my bushings are bad, and my shocks too may be. Could this be the problem. I am currently looking for new shocks now. I decided on my christmas present and my parents are buying me shocks so any insight into some good ones that don't sacrifice ride height would be great. I don't care much about adjustable. Thanks
