Need some advice on Eibach Springs

I was looking around at all the performance springs and decided I want to get the Eibach Pro Kit. I want some first hand advice about these before I put my money down to get them. I also want to top them off with some KYB AGX Shocks/Struts, does anyone run this setup? if so let me know how it handels cause I have a "99 L" and its stock suspension is the crappest bunch of crap that ever crapped a freak'n turn.. Sorry about that but I back road race and I need something that can handel hard tight turns and that won't bottom out..cause I live in New Jersey pot hole capital of the world..

i have eibachs on my 03 impreza. the back end will sag a little.

But for the cost, eibachs and kyb's are a pretty good deal for it's performance gains as far as suspension is concerned.

So the Eibach's give you a torque sag in the rear that sucks..but as for ground clearence I wanted to know if the 1.5" drop going to give me a nice stance while keeping me well away from the ground. Cause I have a slammed honda close to 3 inch drop..worst thing I ever decided to do..

AFAIK the drop for the Prodrive springs is nowhere near 1.5"; much more on the order of 1" and 3/4". Anything more than a 1.5" drop on an Impreza/Legacy chasis is a recipie for disaster; you will wreck your roll center and roll axis and handle much worse than stock (not to mention go through rear tires like mad).

I'd be happy with just a 1" drop, even if I don't get the stance as long as I get good performance thats waht really matters. God knows I don't want bottom out my scuby..

Then my adivce is go with prodrive springs...the stance is still good and u get better ground clearnance than other aftermarket springs. but if you want a good performing suspension package that will still give you good clearance but not much of a drop and great handling, look at this...http://www.jdmpartstx.com/

these will get in spec c struts n springs for imprezas for good prices.

Hey I just read your email and wanted to suggest what I did. I have a 2001 WRX and I recently purchased a set of Pedders suspension of their performance springs and GSR shocks. I couldn't be happier. I researched the Eibach and found that Pedders were the same or better quality product. They offer a two year warranty and saved me a couple bucks on the pricing. Had them installed by a local shop and the car handles awesome! I'm very impressed with the ride and performance, you may think about a set of them. Can't help you with your New Jersey pothole problem!!
