Need smaller rear STi brakes...
So I need to fit 15" wheels on my 04 STi for RallyX this season. I've got a set of front WRX brakes which just barely clear so I'm set there. The big problem I've run into is the rear brembos are just a hair too big for the 15" wheels. I need to find a replacement solution and so I'm calling on i-club to help me.
Some ideas:
* swap out for WRX rears - I've heard this is a major hassle, some even claim
you can't put WRX brakes on due to the different rear (R180 etc)
* shave the bremos - no. this is not an option for me, I will not shave the
calipers
* mill the rotors to a smaller diameter and make a custom mount for the caliper.
- this sounds like a doable option but it's a lot of work
* find smaller calipers for the same rotors - no idea where to start looking.
If anyone has any ideas of something smaller that will fit the R180 rear or any other ideas at all please chime in... don't let the Evo's win again this year.

this sounds pretty ghetto but i know a guy running stock calipers in the back and he just shaved them down a bit. the car works great and can clear his rims. hes on the OZ rally wheels. the style WRC used to run a few years back and those clear now. im running Team Dynamics and they have slightly more clearence than the OZs. but im on stock RS brakes so it doesnt really matter. ill PM you my buddies # if you want to call him about the caliper mod.
