Need pointers on installing springs
I am getting ready to install H&R sport springs in my 2002 rex. The specs after install should be 1.5" front and 1.4" rear lower.
First, does anyone have a good resource on how to do it and some specs on bolt torques?
Second is there something I should be concerned about knowing that I am not planing on changing out the shocks?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Happy to help, BTW from what I understand keeping the stock struts w/ new stiffer springs may overwork them and cause them to go south pretty fast.
i dont know what spring rates yours are but, just for fun, i left my stock struts in after swapping to 450lb/sq-in front and 350lb/sq-in rear. stock struts were toast after about 4k miles, just bounce all day long

so ya'll think I should buy diff shocks, ny suggestions that would go wel lwith my choice of springs? I dunno how hard they are xcept this:
"Sport springs feature a spring rate that is firmer than that of the OE Sport spring, but is still comfortable enough for daily use."

my guess on the spring rates would be around 250 front, 210 rear, you should call and ask what the spring rates are, then you can also know how long your shocks will last with them. my guess is that on springs half as stiff as mine(450 front) the shocks will last 4 times as long. just a guess though

Along with stiffer valving, make sure your struts are made to work with lowered ride height. The restricted travel is part of what wears out the stock struts. Unfortunately, I'm not really up on the WRX aftermarket enough to recommend any. All the good ones I know come with coilovers, until Prodrive releases GD struts.
