Do you need to adjust the camber when installing springs?
Hello,
I am planning on installing Tein S-tech springs on my 04' 2.5 Impreza wagon and wanted to know if I needed to worry about camber adjustment.
This is being done in conjunction with 17 O.Z. wheels and a WRX rear sway-bar.
Thanks for any advice.

Im not sure how much those springs drop the car but you will have more - camber after you install a lowering spring. I installed SPT springs (1.4" front & 1.2" rear drop) on my 02 WRX sedan and the rear was at -2 degrees. I didnt install the bolt kit untill around 3 weeks later because I didnt want so much - camber in the rear since more - camber in the rear will make the car understeer. I added - camber to the front and lost some in the rear. The front comes with factory camber bolts but the rear doesnt. As for the question about 17" rims and rubbing, that depends on the width and the offset. The od will not change that much as long as you get the right size tire. If you get a 17x7.5 wheel with a +48 mm offset with my springs and factory struts like I did, a 225/45/17 so3 might rub the rear fender when you push very hard in corners (mine do but Im hopeing going to -1.5 degrees of - camber form -1 will fix that). The factory tire (205/55/16) has an od of 631.9 mm and a 225/45/17 has an od of 634.3mm so there is only a difference of 2.4 mm. Here is a link that explains how offset and tire sizeing works https://www.i-club.com/forums/wheel-tire-59/official-tech-thread-tire-rack-55297/. Im prety sure a wagon doesnt have as much room in the rear fenders as a sedan.
