Oh, I know; they use a damper that isn't tuned for the car, you have to do that yourself. How much do you know about damper frequencies; adjusting bound and rebound individually? Gotta love one-size-fits-all equipment when it comes to performance goodies.

Whose springs are they using I wonder? Will they sag in a few months?

What type of steels or aluminums are they using for the bodies? Does it include adjusting tools?

This appears to be just another flash in the pan "looks fast" product instead of a go-fast product.
You bring up valid points.....but....

I have not seen ONE review that says these are nothing but great performing coilovers for the money. And they have been out for a while. If they had faults, they would be posted.

If you have the need for adjustability it looks like you cant go wrong.

edit - haha, just saw your handle below your username "sarcastic jackass" :rotfl:

The quality and durability of the Megan Racing Damper kits are unmatched. Made of extremely durable Steel and featuring springs that are constructed of SAE-9254 Cold-Wound Steel which are then tested over 500,000 times by compression inspection. With deformation less than 5% and high strength sophisticated surface coating, we stand by our product with our strong warranty.

Come with spaner wrenches, removeable damper adjustments, and replacement hardware in some applications.

Springs are interchangeable with replacements from megan so you can have almost any springrate you want.

-Front Adjustable Camber Plates
- Pillow Ball Upper Mounts.

Also the height adjustment is seperate from the srping perch, so you will not be sacraficing springrate for height while cornerweighting and getting a allignment.

The reason they are so cheap right now is that they are trying to get their names out. Just like the Helix DNA's, both are very good quality, no problems at all, but since they are new name brands, or just a new lineup in the (helix) namebrand, they have no reputation. We are going to be doing track days with the street and the track systems within the next month or two

Also, the springrates are adjustable +/- 2kg of the coil springs springrate.

+1 for Megan Racing Coilovers!

Just installed my brand new megan racing coilovers street/mountain kit on my 05 STi this weekend. Man they are nice!!!! But before i got them on i purchased new tires. I got a size to big because the guy sold them on me. SOoooooo i am going today to get my smaller tires. Right now i am scraping the tires on the wheel well only on bigger dips and bumps. But the ride is amazing!!! They are truly quality coilovers. The adjustment is great. I got the ride height pretty dialed in and got an aligment at Roger Kraus Racing in Hayward. All i need now is the smaller tires and I will be able to lower it a little more.

They are 32 way adjustable dampening. Fully adjustable ride height seperate from the adjustable spring rate. Very nice quality and fitment was perfect.

But they are awesome coilovers. Very nice ride and great control. Dont get the subaru "shake" over bumps anymore. And NO MORE STRUTS!!!!!!!! woo hooo!

E
