Megan Racing Coilovers?
Anyone have them? Any Reviews?
"These coilovers are simply amazing at this price. Ride quality on full soft feels like a stock 05 STi. Crank up the dampers and suddenly you are driving a go cart. They feature a 32 way adjustable monotube design. Monotubes offer greater strength and resistance to fading under extreme conditions. Ride height is adjustable seperate from the spring perch allowing proper corner balancing without effecting spring preload. Pillow ball upper mounts give precise steering and front camber adjustability."

I got mine in this week and had them put in on Tuesday. I've owned alot of different company suspensions on alot of cars, and I gotta say Megan is great! The quality is great, adjustability and everything else!

just out of curiosity, does anyone have a shock dyno to show how much adjustability there really is? Since I know a lot of people love JICs but their shock dynos suck.

The Megans are made in the same factory and have have the same specs as the Apexi ExV so if you want a name brand to back up your coilovers spend a couple hundred more for the Apexi ones.

yeah these Megan/Apexi N1/whoever-else coilovers came out a couple years ago for S14s and have proven to be one of the best street coilovers out there regardless of price. I loved them on mine

but I still think the Helix DNAs are WAY better, why not get a set through gruppe-S!

IIRC correctly, megan's are valved differently compared to the apexi's. other than that they look the same. I guess that as long as these coilovers last a long time..itll be a good deal. the question is though...has anyone collected a lot of miles on a set of megan coilovers yet?

I can't speak for the Megans, but I have collected over 20k on the Helix DNA's and over 8 track days on them too (albeit the tracking was done on a EVO with DNA's).
Very similar to the Megan just different valving and spring rates.

I have a set of Megans... I've done a couple of autocrosses on it, lots of mountain driving and plan on doing some track days this summer so I'll see how good they work.
So far on the street and autocross no complaints. The spring rate is a little on the soft side and when you crank up the dampening to the high end (past 16 clicks) it is overdamped, it gets stiff and bouncy. I think a slightly higher spring rate would better match the shock for racing and track although perfectly fine for street. You can acheive stock-like ride at the lower dampening settings and if you don't lower the car too much. This is on my Evo so stock ride isn't very soft.
