Lowering Springs are out for the STI. Have a few questions.
im used to truck lowering and dealing with pinion angles so this is different for me.
Rallispec.com has the sti lowering springs.
now here we go
1) Are these good springs and how do they ride
2) Do you need a camber kit
3) Does this make the axle shaft pivot at a wrong angle which in long run could break something.
any info would be appreciated guys
thanks

these are good springs, nothing new is needed and the will not damage your car. they are made by STi for the STi so the spring rates are made especially for the car. unfortunately they seem to be eterally backordered. h and r and eibach are also coming out with springs for the STi soon. these should also be good although they may not be as safe a bet as the STi springs.

Perfect fit, nice look, not too low, and softer ride on small bumps on the road. Very happy with them. Call Dave at Rallispec.

Alcrudo, what alignment settings did you use? And have you bottomed out on any speed bumps yet? And more detailed driving impressions would be greatly appreciated. Your comment on softer ride on small bumps surprised me since most comments on the springs so far have been they are a little siffer than stock.
Thanks. Dan.

Alignment was weird anyways, I got wear on the outside of the Bridgestones... aparently this is normal for Subarus'.
This is moot anyways because the stock rubber was spent after 6000km.

well, i wouldn't say that it really has anything to do with subarus, except perhaps for the fact that their cars are so fun to drive that you push them hard and end up wearing the outer shoulders out first. if you know you're going to drive your car relatively hard, get an alignment in the neighborhood of -1.5 degrees of camber up front and the same or a touch less in the rear with zero toe all around. your tires will wear far more evenly. good luck.
