Question KW Suspensions for Impreza WRX

Hello all,

Does anydoby have experience with using KW suspension Variant 1 or 2 coil-over system for the WRX?

Any feed back would be great.

No, but I have never heard anything bad about KW. I am also looking at getting a set but there isn't much info out there and there aren't many vendors.

i've been looking at them too. i don't think the varient 2 is available for the wrx, at least not my 03 sedan. just 1 and 3.

there's some stuff about it on nasioc, but not a lot. they seem really appealing due to the fact that they are stainless steel - i'm in the midwest.

they're german as far as i can tell, and i've heard they are popular with audi, bmw and VW.

i'm a little concerned about the travel and the lowering. i can't find exactly how much bump and rebound travel they have. and wonder how lowering affects it. i'm not looking to go show-car low, maybe an inch front and 3/4" rear.

there's a big thread on whiteline group 4 coilovers with a TON of info on them. they boast a lot of travel (almost equal to stock) with a 1 inch drop.

it's a darn shame we all can't go out and test drive suspensions!

Yeah - test drive suspension parts. That would be great.
I am looking for the same type of drop maybe more in the front since there is so much wheel gap there.

Thanks for the information - I am going to keep researching suspension parts.
I want a good suspension that can handle the winters in the northeast (road-salt and sand) and the potholes that are a result of living in NY without losing my fillings.
