Installed new rear rotors, question on parking brake.
I installed new Stoptech slotted rear rotors on my car, and ever since I put them on, my parking brake is always engaged, even if the hand lever is released. My question is: Is it normal to have to adjust your parking brake after installing new rear rotors?
I thought something was weird when I could not turn the rear rotors by hand w/the parking brake released.
Also, I can pull up my hand brake lever about 3" before it "clicks" the first time, is this due to my parking brake needing to be adjusted?
I am assuming it is, but it just seems weird to me that changing the rotors would make the parking brake go out of adjustment.
any good info will help....thanks

Nevermind! I got it fingered.....errr....figured out...turns out my parking brake was not releasing when I released the hand lever....Soooo, to remedy this problem, there is a small rubber cover on the backing plate, if you remove this cover, there is an adjustment for the parking brake on the rear brake assembly, I simply adjusted the brake, and I could hear it release and snap into position, both sides. The parking brake must have gotten jammed while it was engaged, however, the problem is fixed and all is well, w00t!
