Ill behavior when off the throttle in corner

I have an '05 STI with about 33k mi. stock suspension and wheels. Here's the issue..When in a steady radius corner or a mild corner with acceleration (not Sunday driving) the chassis/suspension will react to any throttle input poorly. The car feels like it drops down and heads to the right- I then have to adjust my steering to compensate until I get on the throtte again..a little unnerving at times.. I'm know there are various links, braces and such that can cure but can somebody give me some insight. Thanks.

Are you just talking about lift throttle oversteer? When you suddenly lift off the gas in a corner, you are transferring momentum to the front wheels and the rears are losing a little grip.

I'm confused...

this sounds to me like the way AWD cars handle. Mid corner lift will result in snap oversteer. Its why so many noobs (and non noobs) smash their subies in the twisties.

sounds normal to me, unless you want to oversteer, keep it planted and steady in the corners.

why dont you try smooth throttle control, dont let off until your out of the corner either, weight transfers in the middle of turns are not safe unless you need the 'snap over steer' like onemanarmy spoke of.

ive spoke to many driving instructors to cure my bad habbits, smooth is ALWAYS faster (and safer)

I agree with what the others said. This is absolutely normal behavior for AWD and is in fact one of the distinct advantages of AWD over FWD (and to some extent RWD) in a corner. You use the throttle to steer while you keep the wheel steady. Lift throttle, the front turns in (oversteer). Jump on the throttle, the front turns out (understeer). In a RWD car, you only get the first option; in a FWD car, you get the second. AWD gets both. You should have 100% of your braking DONE before you even begin to turn the wheel, unless you can left-foot-brake (I am guessing you can't, but few can). Start your turn towards the apex, steadily add throttle. By 3/4 of the turn, when you can see the exit clearly, you should be back at 100% throttle. If you want a nice little slide at the exit, unwind the wheel a little faster.
