Sorry if this has been gone over to death. I wanted to get an idea of what people here thought a good suspension setup would be for my 04 WRX wagon. For example, STi springs and shocks? Or aftermarket? Coilovers? What about front and rear swaybars and strut tower bars?

If I didn't want to lose too much of my ride quality, what would be a sort of medium level upgrade? I was thinking F&R swaybars, and moderately stiffer shocks and springs. I don't want kidney-crushing 600 lb. springs or anything... not giong for ultimate handling here, just a nice improvement and a mild drop in ride height.

And yeah, I know... replace the stock tires with better ones. Got that part.

 

Well how low do you intend to lower the car? Keep in mind that the more you lower it the more you will have to give up in rider comfort.

 

Ride height isn't a priority. I'd just like to stiffen up the shocks and springs and reduce body roll some, without going too overboard. This is my daily driver and I probably won't be taking it to the track any time soon, I have another car for that.
