Funky Noise w/ New Setup

I just recently had my brake rotors, lines and pads replaced. However, I noticed when I first got them all four brakes made a funky sound when I came to stop after braking. It has since gone away in the front, but still persists in the rear. It gets better after the car has been going for five minutes or more, but it also can be pretty loud – especially when I’m on a steep driveway or a hill. It’s not a squealing coming from the pads, it sounds more like it’s coming from the calipers, more like a mid-range squeak. Any idea what this noise is? My new setup on my 03 WRX consists of hawk pads, centric slotted rotors and stoptech ss brake lines. Thanks.
I will probably try the hawk hps pads next. Most people seem to like them. WIth pads that are more aggresive than stock, they will either make more noise, eat your rotors or dust more.
Its a compromise with more aggressive pads.
