fr lt wheel noise. probs???????

every time i would hit the smallst bump in the road on the fr lt side it sounded like something was gonna fall off. i took the wheel off and looked around and all i noticed was the spring was rather loose in the seat and moveable when i tried to turn it. the other thing i noticed was that the axle had a bit of play in it going in and out of the tranny, but i think thats norm. help???????????

Take it to the dealer and get it fixed before something breaks and you crash.
