Forester Front Discs on a '98L?

Does anybody know if '01 Forester front caliper support brackets will bolt on a '98 L sedan? I've just upgraded to WRX rotors and want to offload my spare parts to a buddy with a "98 L model. And will his single piston calipers mount to the Forester supports which I'm pretty sure are the same as '01 RS parts?

Well, my co-worker answered the question. Yes the '01 Forester caliper brackets (same as RS parts) will bolt right up to a '98 L model knuckles and his stock single piston calipers will mount perfectly on those brackets. The 10.7" Forester/RS rotors will also replace the 10.1" stockers and are the largest size that fit in the 15" wheels. He just needed some new 721 pads and clips (again Forester/RS parts) to complete the swap and reports that they made a nice difference in feel and stopping power.

So, that makes it a confirmed swap that is very cost effective for L models and probably OBSs too. It would also allow swapping to the twin piston RS calipers if you wanted to spend a little more money but that would also require a master cylinder swap.
