The 3 bolts you use for the brace don't need much torque. They are just there to keep the strut mount snug to the frame when the suspension dropps. They don't bear weight at all. Therefore, jsut get them nice and snug, but don't torque them like you would, say, exhaust flange bolts.

I have the Cusco Ti one and I didn't have to. I had to 'F' around with the A/C hose that goes along the firewall, though
It isn't hard, but I don't like having things look 'jerry rigged'. Everything fit pretty well. I have an aftermarket intercooler also.
