STBs are worth getting after you've done the major stuff like springs, struts, and anti-roll bars. I would also get an anti-lift kit first. Except I didn't- I snagged a generic eBay strut brace for $35 for my RS 'cause that was all I had... But no, it doesn't amke a difference unless you are getting hardcore track time.

Hannigan,
I have a rear strut tower brace on my car and I noticed a difference with it. The rear of the car feels tighter and slightly more responsive. Not a huge difference but definitley noticeable.

If you want to get rid of some of the body roll a strut tower brace isn't the way to go. The only way to reduce body roll is to increase the roll resistance of the car or to lower the center of gravity. Increasing the roll resistance can be accomplished with sway bars or with increased spring rates. Sway bars are a great way to reduce body roll because they don't have much of an impact on ride comfort.
