GAB Coilovers

Hi i just recently purchased a 2001 2.5rs. It came with already modified suspension. They are GAB coilovers. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about these coilovers (where to buy, reviews, etc.) please let me know.

hey

i had those in my 99 rs. they rocked. they were a bit stiff for eeryday use, but totally kicked *** on the auto-x course on in the canyons. i loved them. they are adjustable also. i usually kept them at 2f 7r for both street and auto-x. it depended on the course tho.

good set up. how many miles on the car and co's? they have a fairly long life, but will wear out faster than a stock strut.

anyway, enjoy. those are some good co's

hi josh

Well i've had the car for 1 1/2 months. It has 38,000 miles on it so far.

I already notice a slight release of gas when i go over bumps coming from the rear right coilover. I also notice a rattling from the rear coilovers when i go around moderate turns without accelerating but once i accel it stops. Let me know what ur experience was with them especially when they started to where out.

Also let me know if have any info on them (where to buy, are they rare, etc.)

thanks

the rattling noise from the rear could also be caused by the stiff pillowmounts. check and tighten the mounting bolts and see if the noise appear again.
