Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

First of all, you need to move one of the hangers on the WRX cat-back if I'm not mistaken.

I don't think your wasting your money. It will look and sound nicer than stock, all for a cheap price. Sure there will be more gains with Brullen or Stromung, but look at the price difference. If you're on a budget, I like this mod. Another thing, many people have discussed this so try a search, it will yield you a lot more information than what I've posted. Good luck.

on a college budget right now
I know how that is, I'm a first semester senior at James Madison Univ. in VA.

I have a fully polished Magnaflow muffler I haven't posted it for sale, still not sure if I'm going to sell it. Its, #14815 I think. Paid $150 and had it on six months, asking $100 for it. Shipping and Handling is probably around $20. Anyway, I got tired of the noise and think you are making a wise decision on the WRX cat-back. Just to give you a heads up, I had a 2.25" catback with a straight through perforated core Magnaflow and K&N drop in filter. I didn't notice any difference in HP and lost some low end torque on the butt dyno. You shouldn't have this problem with WRX set-up.
