Thanks All!

Jeremy,

I have the coilovers on the Zero 2R's. I'm gonna ride them out for a little bit, but I feel, off the bat, that it may not suit my needs as well as I thought it would, and may consider doing a simpler spring strut combo. ( I know I just got them on! Anyways.

THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE REPLIED.

Seem like either Prodrives or Eibachs on AGX'x seem to be a crowd favorite. I also think that the Koni's(from what I here) may be a good compromise between upgrading the stock WRX handling and having a good ride.

Here is what I think I wanted. The lowered look (not necessarily slammed but lower than 1" drop) with better handling than the stock WRX, and a decent ride that would be comfortable on a long drive. I also live in the city (SF) so roads are kind of crappy. I will probably be doing 1-2 track days a year, other than that some spirited driving every once in a while.

Current set up:

Cusco Zero2R's with rear Helix bar and endlinks.

I would go with Koni yellows, Prodrive springs and some Group N tops but I like a combo that offers an increase in performance along with a fairly comfortable ride. What are you looking for in a spring/strut combo, performance, comfort or both?

I currently have Cusco Zero 2r's. They are a little too stiff for me and that's on the softest setting. So yes I do want a little bit more comfort, but also handling that will be better than stock, and to have the car sit a little lower around 1.5" in front would be good!

Koni Yellows on stock springs... handles nice, I don't worry about scraping, and I can blast over bumps like the car was intended to do.

Koni Yellows + Prodrive Springs.

I have KYB AGX + Prodrives and I like it, but I prefer the better ride of the Koni's.

Prodrive springs even up the front & rear gap very evenly. The drop isn't ridiculously low either, so you won't be scraping everywhere you go. In fact, I haven't scraped yet and I have an OE front lip. You can also go with Eibach Pro's.

Here is a link that shows a RS with Prodrives https://www.i-club.com/forums/attach...chmentid=20481 and here is a link that shows my car with SPT's https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...odrive+springs. Both SPT (progressive) and Prodrive (linear) springs offer a comfortable ride and their close when it comes to spring rate but the Prodrives even the wheel gaps better than the SPT's. I think Prodrives lower the rear 1" and the front 1.5" and I know the SPT's lower the rear 1.2" and the front 1.4".

Was originally going to ask if your wife has a problem with a sagging rear, when I re-read what I wrote it didn't sound very nice. What I meant to ask was wether on not the Prodrive / Stock strut causes her Wagon to sag in the rear? I like a firm rear, I dont want a saggy bottom.
