Disc Brakes vs. Drum Brakes
I have a few simple questions. What advantages does one have over the other? Performance, Price etc. Is it cheaper to put drum brakes on a car rather then disc brakes? I know its easier to work on disc over drums. Also, most luxury and sports cars I have looked up have 4 wheel disc brakes. I was just curious if anyone could enlighten me.

Drum brakes are way worse for heat dissipation. That is why everyone switched. I have a 65 dodge dart, and after stopping 5-6-7 times in a row they brakes heat up so much and the pads expand that stopping becomes scarry. If I wan't dropping money into my suby I would upgrade those. But Price I think discs are a little bit more expensive. I can replace my brakes, on my dart, for about 400 whereas a complete set of calipers and rotors and pads is around 600-1000 for pretty cheap ones. But yeah discs are much easier to work on. THis is just my take on this.
