Desperately Seeking Suspension!?

i've got a 99 rs. when i bought the car it already had H&R springs on it. the problem is that it when you turn left or right sharply the car acts differently. one way it hardly leans and turns tightly, the other way the body leans a lot and it doesn't feel like it turns as tight. the car also appears to sit a little lower on the rear drivers side than the rest of the car. has anyone ever heard of this? i like to slide around some wtih the car, and i live in florida so i go to the beach a lot in the summer. the car sits a little too low with those springs. can anyone give me advice on a spring-strut combo that will handle well on the street but won't be too low for the beach.

Prodrive, Eibach Pro-Kit, or Whiteline Control springs on KYB AGX struts. About $6-700 in parts, and you get great handling, a decent ride, and good quality. The drop on any of those springs is in the 1.2-1.5" range. They probably won't be quite as stiff as the H&Rs but will handle just as well.

Or, if you want to spend a little more, get the Prodrive World Rally Sport suspension. Comes with matched springs and struts. I have this on my car, and it's awesome. Works great on the track, but more importantly, I can run backroads of poor quality at good speeds without getting bounced off the road, or losing traction from having the car feel like a roller skate. Good stuff, but it's gotten up to about $1500 for the set- if you can find it.

Sure, but if you do that I would recommend sticking to 16" wheels and tall sidewalls like 225/50 or 205/55.
