Cutting lowered springs
Hi all, about 11 months ago i had my 92 Legacy lowered at a tyre shop. The only problem is that they made the rear passenger side lower than the other rear side, and i dont want to go back to them as they are a 1.5hour drive away. My question is would it be possible for me to cut this higher spring just a tiny bit? I only need it to go down less then 1/2". If i can cut it, should it be done from the top or bottom of the spring? What is the correct way if there is a correct way?
I believe the springs are K-Mac's, they are yellow/orange in colour.

Cutting springs can be a lengthy process that you won't get the right end product and it might in the end not be safe. Take it to a suspension shop closer to you and make sure they seated the springs correctly. They might have even messed up on the springs and put one of the fronts in the back. . . Good Luck

I was thinking the same thing but I would think the front would be uneven also. Like WRX Rush said it would be a good idea to have it checked out by a local shop. Was it uneven when you had them installed 11 months ago? If not I wonder if the spring could have settled more than the other rear because the strut never had the air purged from it.
I was also thinking, maybe your strut was blown before hand and they never told you about it so now you have one side lower and you thinking it was the springs. Good Luck
