I curbed my car BAD 5 weeks ago. I thas "pushed my wheel straight back and the car does not veer or wobble. It has been "fine" and i have driven it out on the highway and in the city without problems. The front right is set 1/2" back and some guys think that there are paint stress marks on both my control arm and knuckle.

There is some increased on the inside of the affected tire. Another cocern is that winter is approaching and tire contact on the road may be affected.

$300 control arm
$180 knuckle
$300 labor

What would you guys do???

 

Bite the bullet and fix.... It could be really bad if one of those parts was damaged and gave out on you on the road....

the dealership told me that replace the control arm first and then if the alignment is still not good, then try the knuckle. only the knuckle seems to be in question.
