CB Racing Coilovers

Just finished the install of the BR's on my 03 WRX 2 days ago. The install went smooth with no issues at all. It took me about 5 hours with floor jacks and hand tools. I recomend you have two breaker bars to get the lower bolts loose, Unless you are a heavy user of steiroids!!

Ridehight out of the box for the fronts was great. It dropped the front about 1.5". I thought the rear would be to low out of the box so I raised them before I installed them. When I lowered the car off the jack stands there was a 3" gap in the rears. So I dropped them back down to match the fronts. Adjusting the ride hight is simple and took about 10 min to do both sides.

As far as the ride goes there is a huge difference over the stock suspension. There is hardly any body roll in turns and the ride is nice and smooth over the Chicago streets. I had the damping set to 10 when I first installed them. I notticed a bit to much bouncing so I lowered them to 8 and it went away. Lucky I ordered the rear damping extenders from Import Image and did not have to take out the rear seats (I would diffenetly recommed these).

The only thing I am hearing is a bit of a clunk from time to time in the front driverside. Any one got any Ideas how to remedy this?

Over all a great buy and I would recommend them to any one who wants to make their car handle better.
