hey im a new sti owner a little over 2000 miles so far brakes are making a grinding noise when braking all the time had the car to one dealer where i bought they took the wheels off and checked each brake out found nothing wrong the mechanic drove the car heard the dragging noise too after checking them out.no answer sent me on my way. couple of days later went to another dealer the mechanic and i drove it he said its brake dust and nothing is wrong with brakes although when i asked him if other stis have been in with brake noise complaints he said no. any one else had this problem ?? any ideas or comments?thanks

 

my STi is the exact same way. price you pay for hard, high perfomance brakes. its nothing unusual so dont worry about it. i had an rx-7 with harsh pads on it that acted the same
