i don't know about that on WRX's, my BMW used to do that, but I've had my wrx pads reduced to mere pringles (potato chip thin) before, and had no indication from the idiot lights.

If brake light stays on,..probably a fuse even though it shouldnt work with a broken one, but easy to change?? Id change it to see if it'll work,..

You

say the fluid "is there". What are you trying to say? The brake light will come on when the fluid is low. Not sure what else will trigger it. Mine has been on for a long time as my pads and rotors are toast.

if u have souns it is ur alternator thats going bad that has happend to me twice within 3 months and i was told by the service department @ kaneohe subaru that the amp was dranning all my power and also get this checked soon cause for me my car just turned off at 65mph
