Best suspension under a 1,000?

What do you guys think is the best suspension setup under 1,000.
I can get:
1) koni struts w/ ground control coilovers
2) Sti ver 8 struts and sti pinks
3) AGXs and progress springs
4) Nex coilovers
5) Used B&G coilovers.

What are your opinions and is there any other combo that is good?

Derek

I do go to the track every few months as well.

I have to say the sti bits. They inverted for strength, built to work together, and give the most comfortable ride. If you find them used which isn't hard, you can get coilover performance and a great price. You lose out on the adjustability of the more expensive coilovers, but I think the performance is there untill you sacrafice ride and get track coilovers.

Why do they have to be under $1000? You get what you pay for, and I suggest that you patiently wait until you can afford some coilovers, unless of course you are in some hurry to fix up your car for a deadline...

I have Sti strut mounts, kyb agx's, and stock springs. Along with my whiteline sway bars and endlinks on my 00 Rs. I have no problem hanging with my buddys evo. Another thing to consider is the strut mounts, these stiffen the car up alot. Oh, prices struts $400, strut mounts $250 sway bars and endlinks $380. About a grand.

If you aren't expecting to win your class in autocross, I'd go with the STi struts with pinks. Excellent all around suspension.
