Best option for autocross/track?

I'm almost ready to get an alignment for my car. After calling/asking some local tuners, Some shops can actually do corner weighting, some shops only do factory alignments, and some can do performance alignments, but no corner weighting. I've got adjustable JIC-FLTA2's on my car, and a host of other suspension related components. I would like to be able to set them up properly for auto-x and for track days. Help me decide what the best solution for is for money/performance costs. What are the main advantages of spending the extra $$$ for corner weighting?

First cornerweight, then align. Make sure they do the cornerweighting at your "race" weight, with the equivalent of you in the driver's seat. Then spec your alignment based on how you want the car to handle.

http://www.whiteline.com.au/faqintro.htm
That link will contain most of what you need to know to determine why you need to cornerweight and how to set up your alignment.

If you have further questions, I would take them directly to Whiteline on suspensionparts.info

Question still not sure about corner-weigting my GC8

I just did some reading up on the whiteline site and I couldnt find much specifically on benefits of corner-weighting impreza suspension. I drove both an RX-8 and a Honda S2k, and the benefits of a 50-50 weight ratio was obvious on those cars. However, my Impreza is AWD, not RWD, and a 50-50 balance may not be the best for Subarus in general. can anyone speak from personal experience the effects of getting corner-weighting adjustment on an impreza?
thanks

Corner weighting doesn't create a 50/50 weight distribution. What it does is even out the weight on your diagonals to balance the car's handling when turning left and right. You do it to make the total weight on the LF+RR=RF+LR.

thanks for the info, BAN SUVS, and I think i'm going to get it done if its less than $300 with
the alignment. Checking with Roger Krause soon. Right now, my car weighs 2520 lbs w/ half tank of gas. I think right now distr. is approx. 58% front and 42% rear. It would definitely feel better if my L/R weights are equal (with me in the car). I'll post my results when I finally go through w/ it.
