BC coilovers vs GF210's w/gr2 struts

I am trying to decide between these two setups for my 02 wrx. I have heard great reviews from both, and arent that far apart in terms of price when you put together a complete spring/strut combo. My car is for now a daily driver, but I do not necessarily drive very far. I guess my real question is, how much better is the gf210/gr2 strut combo (mind you for the 02-03 wrx) compared to stock? I dont want to be kicking myself later wishing I had just gone with the BC's.

If you're not spending at least $2k on coil overs, you're buying ****.

as i have heard alot on nasioc, but I have yet to see a sour review of BC coilovers. the only negative thing i have heard about them is that they do lack travel.

I have been contemplating whether or not just to throw on some nice adjustable inserts and go from there, but again I just dont want to be kicking myself later

I have used BC coilovers after my cusco zero 2's. I have to say they are worth the money you pay for them. You have damping, camber, height, and pre load adjustment.

gf210/gr2 is alright too but just remember those GR2's are nothing too special compared to stock shocks. That line up of shocks are meant to be OEM replacements. If you just looking for a decent drop with comfortably then go with the shock and spring set up.

You can spend 2k+ on coilovers..but if you don't track it why waste the money to just daily drive your car.

Figure out your budget, and think about what you want to do with your car before dropping hundreds on your car hah.. good luck

Thanks a lot for the help. I think i might just go with ground control sleeves with adjustable struts and go from there. I'm not yet sure how stiff I would like to go

I have BC coilovers on my car and I think they are great.
If you are a macho man like Paul thinks he is, then you might want to spend 3k on a different brand.
If you are daily driving your car, I think you will be more than satisfied with BCs

Why the personal attack?

I'm glad you like your economy coil over kit but as I get to deal with poor suspension components daily, I stand by my earlier post.

Hey Paul,

What spring rates/lengths would you recommend?

Economy cars tend to last longer than luxury or sports cars.......usually.
That's all I'm saying..
I think "economy... kit" was bad word choice.

In all seriousness though, I don't think he is going to use his car for any hi-end racing or competition as he did mention daily driven.
That being said, where is the justification for spending an additional $2,000 on a set of coilovers whose only difference may be progressive springs vs. swift linear springs?
I won't ever insult your intelligence... only question it.
