Im having new tires put onto the car and they are going to check the alignment and see where its at (Firestone). Currently the car drives straight and handles like a dream tire wear looks great and seems even. I am looking through this and trying to come up with a good idea on a number to tell them i would like my car set to.
I would like some input and suggestions. My car is an 06 STI, I have some sort of aftermarket strut insert with Swift springs, I have full sub frame bracing from back to front, H brace, White line ALK, White line Roll center, I have spherical tie rod ends, after market C links for the sways, possibly sways but cant tell they are black and no stickers, and i have the camber bolts front and rear at least thats what i read on one of the receipts the previous owner gave me. I DD my car and i do a lot of canyon runs and at times drive aggressively. Im not a fan of under-steer one bit (my FWD days are behind me and even then i had my car set up to under-steer as little as poss for a FWD). I would like my car to handle and corner at the very least as well as it does now if not better.
I saw buzzword post these specs (he has an 06Sti) but he has coils and camber plates so im not sure how close i can get my car to match those numbers.
front: -1.5 camber 0 toe +4 caster
rear: -.5 camber 0 toe 0 caster

Any suggestions for settings?
Thanks

^^Unless you have camber plates, I don't think you can adjust the caster. -1.5/-0.5 should be cool. But I don't know much in regards the the GD chassis.

Auto Innovations FTW!

I'll probably be paying them a visit in the near future.

Thanks for the input Jordan. That's what i figured. I'm still finding out and learning what all the previous owner installed on the car suspension wise. I just want to make sure my car is not set to the "standard vanilla" alignment setting and set to something similar to what i have now or better.

Camber does not usually kill tires. Many people run as much as -2.5 degrees up front with little tire wear. Toe eats up tires.
Zero toe is key!

How come almost a degree more on the left? Like going around on-ramps?

If he brings his left front down to -2.0 to match his right, he will have more negative camber in the rear compared to the front. Ccania STI, you should try to get your right front to match the left. That would put You in a good place.

Edit: look at my post #29. That is what I was trying to say here. Sorry for any confusion.

More camber in the rear than the front? I don't think that's a good place.

Thats what I am trying to say. If he brings his right front to -2.9 to match his left, that would be better than bringing the left down to -2.0.

The bottom line is he should have:
Front, left -2.9/right -2.9
Rear, left -2.5/right -2.5
