93 Impreza-wagon "L"REPLACING CALIPERS AND ROTORS...TONIGHT!!
INFO PLEASE:I AM DOING CALIPERS AND ROTORS(W?PADS) ON A A 93 IMPREZA WAGON TONIGHT.
I was wondering if you all could tell me what tools I will need as I want to make sure I have any allens,etc... BEFORE I pick it up tonight. Also NAAPA asked me if it had ABS and I had the customer turn on the "idiot lights to see if it has an abs light, and he did not see one.
First, what size fastener for the axle nut, brake bleeder front & rear(8 or 10mm I am guesssing), brake LINE, and what size are the CALIPER mounting bolts?
I assume the rotor will slip off the hub after removing two screws like on a honda.
ALSO, I was just curious, isn't the "L" model the designation for 2 WD?
Other than that, I have confidence in the ease at which subarus have been for me to work on, especially my SVX!
thanks for your help!

Im assuming you are doing fronts. The rears are drums, aren't they?
No need to take the axle nut off.
if you got 14mm and 17mm most of them comes off.
no screws on rotor, itll slip off.
L doesnt mean 2WD. from 96 or 97 all the subaru in USA is AWD.

rotors/calipers/pads- 93 wagon L
It was a 93 so I don't undrerstand. Anyway it went perfectly, but I was trying to do a little reasearch to ensure I wouln't end up looking for an odd tool on a sunday.
The front rotors were wrong so I replaced the two calipers and three Pads as there was one rough rotor surface on the side that had a bad caliper(the other were perfectly smooth) UNTIL NAPA got me the correct rotors, at which time I also installed the last new pad.
