send an email or call the shop that you're buying them from. Make sure they're 04 specific, I believe the rear top mounts are different for MY04. I'm not 100% sure, but I think Tein does make 04 specific TEIN SS coilovers

good luck

The top mounts are different for 04, but will only cause a problem if you are trying to use 02-03 springs. You will not have a problem with coilovers.

damn.. I learn something new everyday. The tein website lists the SS coilover for 02-03 and the 04s as the same part number

DSS60-KUSS2

but I'm wondering why the tein wagon coilovers only work for 02-03 and not for 04s?

From what I understand some of the less expensive coilovers require you to use your stock top mounts. I also believe that most of the coilover manufacturers only have basic units available for the wagon, meaning that if you have to use the top mount to complete the coilover setup they would need to me 04 specific models.

yes ifthe coil-overs come with their own top mounts any year will fit any year. I ran flex out of an 02 in my 04. BTW, teins regular springs designed for the 04 should be available by now.

Yeah they are. I don't think I want to go that low, mostly because there aren't really any struts out there that can handle the drop of the S-tech's.
