02 wrx oem spring issue

02 wrx oem spring issue

i have an 02 wrx, it came with aftermarket suspension, struts are blown so im going back to stock.. the rear springs my girls x got her dont sit correctly in the strut mount.. does anyone have or know where i can find a pic or sumthing to see what i have n what i need?.. i just need to see if i for sure have the wrong springs and what the correct ones are..

04+ springs taper on top and the 02-03's don't. Are the springs diameter too small or to big for the top spring perch. Measure the top of both springs and tell me which has a smaller diameter.

I'm guessing the rear has 04+ tops and struts.

the front i have all togather.. the front is strait with a taper on the top, the rear it completely straight, but the rear top mount is too small for the top ot the spring

They changed the design of the rears on the 04+ and not the front so it sounds like you have 02-03 springs with 04+ tops. If the rear struts are off an 02 you need 02-03 rear tops. If you have 04+ rear struts I'd change the rear springs.
