sti springs in 02 wrx

i have 06 sti springs i want to put in a 02 wrx i know i have to get tophats for the springs to fit, my question is can i put 04 tophats on 06 sti springs in a 02 wrx? help
It will work but you will have to either buy or make some spacers to allow the strut to mount to the tops right.. When you buy aftermarket springs the part # is the same for 04+ WRX/STI's. Take a look @ Gruppe-S and you will see what I'm talking about http://www.gruppe-s.com/Subaru/subsus.htm
BTW, If you have to buy new tops go with some GroupN's.
